ABOUT BLACK SHUTTER
we Tell Stories.
We Bridge Worlds.
Black Shutter was built on a belief that the stories most worth telling are often the ones least likely to be told.
The perspective behind the camera matters just as much as what's in front of it.
OUR MISSION
To close the gap between diverse audiences
and the stories they deserve.
OUR STORY
The talent was always here.
We just built it a home.
We started as a podcast for Black photographers. Now we're a Black-owned production company blending creative direction, advertising, photojournalism, and marketing.
This is our system.
And we bring the whole thing to every story we tell, every mission we serve, every community we put on screen.
Real stories. Real people. That's the only perspective that matters.
